WhatsApp Notifications

Our platform offers add-ons that allow you to send automated notifications via WhatsApp. These add-ons have an additional cost, depending on the subscription plan you choose.

There are two ways to manage WhatsApp message delivery:

1. Send from magenCRM’s corporate WhatsApp number

If you do not have a WhatsApp Business API account, messages will be sent using magenCRM’s corporate number.

  • Your organization name will be included in the message content.

  • Using templates, you can also include a note and a reply link to your own WhatsApp number, so recipients can easily respond.

2. Send from your own WhatsApp Business API account

If you have a WhatsApp Business account with an API configured, all messages will be sent directly from your own number. WhatsApp Business API (WABA) is not the same as the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business mobile app.

Managing and Tracking Your WhatsApp Plan

In the Notifications section on the left menu, you can:

  • Check the status of your WhatsApp add-on.

  • Review the complete history of messages sent.


Important Compliance Notes

WhatsApp messages are sent using Twilio’s WhatsApp Business API, which is strictly governed by Meta’s approval and compliance process.

  • All messages must comply with pre-approved templates that follow WhatsApp Business policies.

  • If your WhatsApp Business account is not verified, or if your templates do not meet Meta’s guidelines, messages may be rejected or blocked.

  • Even with a valid setup, Meta’s systems may block or delay messages for reasons beyond magenCRM’s control.
